It is interesting to see the notion of tech platforms play out in other fields. Specifically, the biotech field is all abuzz on platforms. For example Exelixis' oncology platform built on kinase inhibitors....

None taken.
This is exactly the point. The market is gradually embracing ADCs, which are going to be a must have in the industry. players that have validated and mature ADC technologies will become very valuable.

The EXEL article will be published next weekend.

no offense, ohad, but I feel like you're putting too much weight on 2-3 companies that represent a tiny niche in biotech. You deserve the credit for identifying the potential of all these monoclonal abs companies, but there's a whole universe of companies out there.
I really liked it when you started writing about areas other than antibodies (SNTA,PARD). What about EXEL, do you still intend to publish an article re the company?

I wish I knew the answer to that. Don't forget that to date, Immunogen's technology generated the only ADC Genentech is developing, and sounds very happy with it.
Theoretically, Immunogen's linkers and drugs can be used with the THIOMAB platform, so the potential is definitely there.

Hi Ohad

I wonder what is the effect on of the new platform on IMGN's position within Genentech? Why did DNA decide to focus on SGEN's candidates especially after the success they've had with T-DM1?

Thanks
