		<description>Although elderly patients can suffer from resistant AML, there are herbal therapies that can compensate for defects in apoptosis signaling pathways - those very defects that confer resistance to the cancer cells.  Combined with other herbal therapies that leverage immune system components to produce cytokines and stimulate macrophage, T-Cell, and NK cell activity - these herbal therapies can cure the most resistant AML.

Case in point: My son Jaymun, born with congenital AML, 3 rounds of chemo, conditioning, BMT in 2006 - relapse in 2008 - two more rounds of chemo - three months of CNS intrathecal chemo - sent home July 31,2008 with refractory  AML (CNS and marrow involvement).  5+ months later we achieved remission using exclusively an herbal protocol.
